Escaping Weight Loss Traps

In your quest for losing weight to get rid of your obesity, there is every possibility of your falling into the weight loss trap laid by dishonest traders.  If you fall into a trap it will not only put an end to all your chances of losing weight but may also be detrimental to your health and well being.

One of the main reasons for people getting obese is not drinking sufficient water.  If you do not drink enough water, your body will try to retain some extra water for bare survival.  Weight of the extra water could be somewhere in the range of three to eight pounds.  This will result in your getting extra fat.  One of the best methods of dropping extra weights within a short time span is to drink more water.  You can check up your urine color.  When it becomes clear enough or at least light yellow you can safely conclude that your drinking water is to the proportion.  This will also result in extra water going out of your body and your body not retaining water more than required.

Do not think for a moment that reducing your food will make you thinner and slimmer. Even if you lose some weight initially with such starving methods, you will regain them quickly.  This happens since your body will slow down your entire metabolism in order to preserve sufficient amount of energies.  Thus reduction of food will have a negative impact on your ambition of fat reduction.

Many people have wrong notions that eating two or three big meals a day would be good for their ultimate objective of weight loss.  Your body does not need such big meals but requires small meals for creation of energies for sustenance.  Smaller meals can speed up your metabolism much faster than larger meals and they also help the digestive processes much better. When digestive process is supported, fat burning is more and its accumulation is less.  It is therefore better to spread out your diet into small meals throughout the day.

The three major weight loss traps therefore are drinking insufficient water, unnecessary reduction of your diet, and having a couple of large meals a day.  If you can escape these traps, your chances of weight loss would be much better.
