Do Diet Pills Actually Work
Do Diet Pills Actually Work?
Many over the counter drugs makers have been trumpeting and blowing their own trumpets on how their diet pills work and how effective the drugs are. In fact what makes the whole idea of trumpet blowing ridiculous is the fact that most of the sellers and makers of these diet pills claim that the use will experience miraculous weight loss without having to exercise and even dieting. Well some of these claims might sound outrageous but in real sense some of them are actually true.
I know of a few pills that are actually working and can be used by anyone. The most effective of the diet pills are the recently manufactured pills for instance the Xenical and Meridia. These pills have undergone clinical tests and have been proven to help the dieters cut off some pounds of fats. But even though, some pills work, others are unregulated, unproven and untested.
With that said it is important to note that even with most effective diet pill, it should be used for a short period of time which might be six months and less so that the user does not incur side effects and harm. During that that doctor prescribed period, the pills if all goes well is projected to have shed about 5 to 22 pounds of your excess weight.
The main reason why 6 months is usually the maximum period of time for using the diet pills is so that the body does not get used to the pills and cause tolerance. When the body is tolerant to the diet pills the user’s body weight just plateaus and that is not advantageous. But one thing here again is that even after using diet pills and it turns out tat it was successful you should try to keep fit and eat healthy because junk food swill still take your body back to the original state
